He’s named his new album “Yeezus” and debuted new tracks by projecting an image of himself onto the side of buildings across the world. He also dropped this track alongside “Black Skinheads” on Saturday Night Live and previously let off “I Am God”, all ahead of the June 18th release date. So far rumoured to be on the album either producing or featuring include Skrillex, Chief Keef, John Legend and Odd Future, as well as the mighty Daft Punk. Angry tech disco gangsterness ahoy.
This track sounds like classic Kanye – fresh, new but also unmistakably him. I can only guess what the new album will hold but he’s already dropped my favourite line of the year:
You see there’s leaders, and there’s followers,
But I’d rather be a dick than a swallower
Pretty much sums Yeezy up. Roll on June 18th.

In honour of Kanye’s abruptly announced shows next weekend at the Hammersmith Apollo, here’s my favourite track from the Cruel Summer G.O.O.D Music album. Show me a better opening line than “I believe there’s a God above me, I’m just the God of everything else” #ego
